News.ro Event – Energy Road – Energy in your home – 5 Edition

Event organized in the context of the energy crisis and the effects of the war in Ukraine, which aims to trace the path of energy from the producer to your home, the milestones being the companies that are active on the market with their successes, but also with their problems, especially in the current situation of crisis and of the price increase, as well as future solutions.

We want to talk about the traceability of energy to the consumer and how the price is formed in the conditions where the information has been distorted in the last period.

The event will address measures to limit the effects of price increases and solutions to ensure energy independence (set as a national objective in the CSAT on March 1, 2022), such as increasing production capacity, as well as changing the energy mix.

Among the proposed topics will be current topics, but also recurrent ones, such as: the exploitation of gases from the Black Sea, the off-shore law, energy investments, Romania’s energy strategy and the energy transition, at the suggestion of the speakers and those who will participate at our hybrid event “Energy Road – Energy at home”, 5th edition, televised LIVE on Profit News TV and transmitted online by News.ro Press Agency, which will broadcast news from the debates.

CONTEXT:

In November 2020, a Project of the Energy Strategy of Romania 2020-2030, with the perspective of 2050, was put into public debate, after many years of sterile debates regarding the updating of the energy strategy. It was discussed about turning it into a Government Decision or approval by law in the Parliament and even about a political pact in energy until 2026, but so far it has not been approved.

The energy field is complex, with powerful companies, both state and private, which complicated the development of a long-term vision. The companies in the field have made investments, but they develop according to their own strategies and are often affected by political and legislative changes, as well as by crises.

In addition, the decisions taken at the level of the European Union (Green Deal) pose problems for Romania in the objective of ensuring its energy security, thus paying the price for the delay in reforms and investments.

Therefore, the path of energy to the Romanian consumer must be reanalyzed in accordance with the new domestic and international situation, with the crisis we are going through, with the effects of the war and with the predictions in the energy sector.

The main subject in public attention at the beginning of the year was the energy crisis that directly affects the household consumer and companies, amplified by the effects of the war in Ukraine. In the end, there are solutions, and the present event aims precisely to stimulate debates and bring energy to your home, primarily from an informative point of view.
