Profit.ro Financial Forum „We are financing the restart of the economy”

d hit by the COVID-19 crisis needs recovery solutions. Whether they come from government support programs or private sector initiatives, solutions to economic recovery after a sharp decline cannot work without involving financial markets. The banking market, investment and pension funds, the stock market and insurance companies are the ones that are expected to finance the restart of the economy in the next period. Affected in turn by the restrictions imposed during the pandemic and the effects passed on in multiple sectors, financial market players are looking for their own solutions to adapt and reinvent themselves, in a period marked by uncertainty and market volatility. From the public, the population and companies, a huge interest has generated various support programs to overcome the liquidity crisis and lack of funding. Run through more or less functional banks, they tried to cover urgent financing needs. However, the restart of the economy on a solid basis needs additional measures to go beyond covering temporary cash flow problems. Efforts involving not only banks, but also players in the capital or insurance market.
